New Delhi: As part of its CSR initiative, Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd has started a programme ‘Aadhar Kaushal’ to provide skills to youth to make them employable.
The programme will be implemented in Lucknow, Mumbai and Bengaluru during this fiscal year in association with Mahendra Skills.
“Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an extension of our business philosophy of supporting nation building. We are proud to launch Aadhar Kaushal, which envisages supporting the government’s ‘Skill India Mission’,” company’s MD and CEO Deo Shankar Tripathi said.
Mahendra Skills is an NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) approved training partner.
Chetan Chauhan, former test cricketer and Minister of Sports, Youth Welfare and Vocational Training in Uttar Pradesh government, launched this programme.
Chauhan expressed happiness that companies like Aadhar Housing finance are coming forward to support the Centre’s Skill India Mission.
Going forward, Aadhar Housing Finance has plans to take this programme to smaller cities.
Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd is a subsidiary of Wadhawan Global Capital (WGC) and it targets affordable housing segment through 285 branches across 19 states.
The company is backed by the World Bank through the equity participation of International Finance Corporation (IFC).
