New Delhi: State-owned oil firm ONGC is providing helicopters besides relief materials for flood hit- Kerala that has led to deaths of over 200 people.
The company has provided three helicopters to airlift relief materials and carrying rescue operations.
It has sent four doctors to provide medical supports. Food, medicines, bedsheets and other relief materials have been dispatched.
ONGC’s CMD Shashi Shanker said: “Being a national company it is our primary responsibility to mobilise all possible resources for disaster management.”
He assured that the company would continue to render all supports to the affected people of Kerala.
